Top Jupiter Fund Managers Head For The Exit Door

Two senior executives at UK fund manager have announced their departures “to pursue their careers elsewhere”.

Philip Ehrmann and Kathryn Langridge were both emerging market fund managers and their exits come just as Ross Teverson from Standard Life Investments arrives in the newly created role of head of global emerging market strategy later this month.

Ehrmann, manager of the Jupiter China fund, had been with the firm since 2006 while Langridge joined in 2010 from Lloyd George and has run the Global Emerging Markets fund since its launch in 1 November 2010. Langridge had recently been appointed co-manager on the Jupiter Emerging European Opportunities Fund and the Jupiter New Europe SICAV alongside Colin Croft.

“Philip Ehrmann and Kathryn Langridge have decided to leave Jupiter to pursue their careers elsewhere. We are sorry to see them go and wish them both well for the future. They will be with us until the end of the year and we would like to reassure our clients that plans are in place, and will be announced shortly, for the future management of these portfolios,” a spokesperson from the company said.
